Microbusinesses get boost from state program
(NET Radio) - Julie's Catering in Albion. Redleaf Automotive and Towing in Santee. Becky's Health Hut in Sidney. Stuff N Critters Taxidermy in Farnam. These are a handful of the more than 15-thousand small companies across the state that have received support through a program called the Nebraska Microenterprise Partnership Fund. The executive director of the fund, Rose Jaspersen, says since 1998 microbusinesses have received nearly 7 million dollars in loans, training and technical assistance.
