Wind farm draws promoters, critics LINCOLN, NE (NET Radio) - Midwest Wind Energy of Chicago is proposing to build 48 wind turbines on 11,500 acres in north central Nebraska's Holt County. The privately-financed project would cost an estimated 160 million dollars. It would create 120 construction jobs and 8 permanent jobs to operate and maintain the wind farm.
