Racism, violence seen in east Omaha
(2007-03-06)
(NET Radio) - The neighborhood near Eppley Airfield is mainly white and low income, but there were both black and white faces among the crowd gathered at Saint Therese Catholic Church. They came out of concern for Kassahun Goshime, a 41-year-old Ethiopian immigrant and manager of Bob's Food Mart. Goshime, who is black, barely escaped death when two white men robbed the store, bound him with duct tape, and set the store on fire. © Copyright 2021, NET Radio
