Weather suggests incoming dry spell
(NET Radio) - Al Dutcher points to changing surface temperatures across the Pacific Ocean as an indicator of things to come. Dutcher, a state climatologist with the University of Nebraska Lincoln, is worried about the switch from a warm, or El Ni o, condition, to a cool, or La Ni a, condition over the past two months. He says that change often leads to less moisture in the air, resulting in less rain across the Midwest. © Copyright 2017, NET Radio
