Unclaimed property searchable online LINCOLN, NE (NET Radio) - People can now search for unclaimed property held by Nebraska and other states on a national online database. Alex Kauffman of the State Treasurer's Office says Nebraska is currently holding $80 million in property ranging from safety deposit boxes to stocks and bonds to dormant checking accounts. Kauffman says the annual listing of unclaimed property and property owners will be coming out in Nebraska newspapers next month. Thirty thousand Nebraskans will be listed.
