StratCom role in planning Iran attack examined
(2007-02-21)
(NET Radio) - After the Cold War ended, the U-S Strategic Command was established in 1992 to oversee the U-S's nuclear weapons arsenal. But since 9/11, its mission has continually evolved to include integrated missile defense, combating weapons of mass destruction, planning surveillance operations, and other activities. Nebraskans for Peace state director Tim Rinne says StratCom has recently been charged with drawing up plans for a possible aerial attack on nuclear facilities in Iran. © Copyright 2013, NET Radio
