Animal identification bill considered
(2007-02-20)
(NET Radio) - Currently, livestock owners can choose whether to register their cattle in a national disease surveillance database. Farmers can choose to register individual cattle or their entire premises. State Senator Cap Dierks of Ewing has introduced a bill that would make it clear the program is voluntary. It would also help cattlemen stop participating in the program if they choose to do so. © Copyright 2013, NET Radio
