Legislature considers mercury ban
(NET Radio) - It's the third time the Legislature is considering a ban on the use of vaccines containing mercury. The bill would phase in a mercury ban over two years, beginning this July. Senator Carol Hudkins of Malcolm told the Legislature's Health and Human Services Committee she introduced the bill after hearing from parents of autistic children, who feared their children developed autism as a result of vaccines containing thimerosal, a form of ethyl mercury used as a preservative. © Copyright 2017, NET Radio
