Hagel won't seek more support on Iraq resolution
(NET Radio) - The Nebraska Republican co-authored a non-binding Senate resolution with two prominent Democrats, opposing a deepened military commitment in Iraq. Hagel also said he would do everything he could to stop the White House's policy as outlined in Bush's address to the nation last week. But he would NOT say whether he would vote against a war-related supplemental spending bill. And, during a news conference call Thursday, Hagel said he would NOT try to seek additional support for his resolution. © Copyright 2018, NET Radio
