The organ has been silent for months. It's housed at the Cornerstone Chapel, a Protestant student ministry on the edge of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The church closed its doors this year. Now the United Methodist Conference must sell both the building and the nationally revered pipe organ inside. Fans of the instrument hope it stays close to home.
