Important historical anniversaries abound in 2012

(NET Radio) - As the calendar page turns to a new year, we enter a year of anniversaries. The 150th anniversary of The Homestead Act, the Morrill Act for land grant universities . The Emancipation Proclamation - And - the Pacific Railway Act, encouraging an intercontinental rail line. Jerry Johnston talked with UNL Historian Will Thomas - his new book is on rail history - about the Pacific Railway Act.
