Lt. Gov. Rick Sheehy pledges continuity LINCOLN, NE (NET Radio) - As part of our Campaign Connection 2010, we're looking at the race for Lt. Governor. Yesterday we heard about Democrat Ann Boyle. Today, Republican Rick Sheehy who is running for re-election with Governor Dave Heineman. Many Nebraskans may only know Sheehy from televised shots of him presiding over the Legislature. But if he and Governor Heineman are reelected, and Heineman succeeds in a Senate race some people expect two years from now, Sheehy would become governor.
