Guthrie Dispels Rumors About Pork Products
(2009-10-01)
(Kentucky Public Radio) -

A Kentucky congressman says pork producers in his state are worried about miscommunication over swine flu.

Republican Brett Guthrie of Bowling Green spoke Wednesday on the house floor and noted that Kentucky pork producers claim all the talk over swine flu is having a negative effect on them.

The government stresses that pork and pork products are safe and swine flu cannot be contracted by eating pork.
