DALLAS, TX (KERA) - The ever-controversial debate over teaching evolution or creationism surfaced in Austin today, as the State Board of Education heard public testimony on science standards for the next ten years. KUT's Nathan Bernier reports the board's eventual decision will have ripple effects across the country.
