Dig underway at rare Nebraska fossil bed
(NET Radio) - Buried in a quiet hillside in northeast Nebraska are the remnants of hundreds of animals killed long ago by a volcano faraway. Researchers hope a fossil dig this summer will reveal more of the story of what happened there, millions of years ago.
