Beer sales to reservation protested

(NET Radio) - A protest was held Thursday at a Scottsbluff beer distributor. Only 7 people turned out for the protest, aimed at bringing attention to alcoholism on a South Dakota reservation.

Winnebago tribal member and activist Frank LaMere says since High Plains Budweiser in Scottsbluff supplies 86 percent of the beer sold in Whiteclay, the distributorship is responsible for the effects of alcoholism on the reservation. 21 secs
