Kansas ready to enforce water rights LINCOLN, NE (NET Radio) - A Kansas official says he's disappointed that his state isn't getting its share of water from the Republican River, following a meeting on the issue.

Kansas officials say that over the past four years, Nebraska has taken 144,000 acre-feet more than allowed under a 2002 settlement approved by the U.S. Supreme Court.
