Campaign Connection: gubernatorial candidate agriculture forum

Republican Congressman Tom Osborne, Republican businessman Dave Nabity, and Democratic businessman and attorney David Hahn came to Kearney on Saturday to take part in a candidate forum on agriculture issues, sponsored by the Center for Rural Affairs. Governor Dave Heineman was also invited but declined to attend, citing a scheduling conflict. The 90 minute program was moderated by NET Radio reporter Sarah McCammon, who prepared the questions with input from the Center for Rural Affairs and other farm groups.
