Mark Twain - portrayed by Warren Brown - was part of the Free Land Chautauqua, part of the celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the Homestead Act. Historical personalities were on stage recently under the Chautauqua tent at the Homestead National Monument near Beatrice. It was part of the celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the Homestead Act. One of those personalities was one of America's most beloved literary characters. Jerry Johnston reports.
