A cabin built in 1867 by a Nebraska homesteader is moving out of a flood plain and on to the prairie at Homestead National Monument A historic cabin is being moved to a new location at Homestead National Monument near Beatrice. The new location will be out of the flood plain, and back on the prairie where it belongs. NET Radio's Jerry Johnston visited the work site this week, and prepared this progress report.
