A legacy of building community and serving God Ben Larson, a Seminary student who had served in Lincoln, had a different idea of what ministry meant. A community lunch program at a Lincoln bookstore is one of his legacies. Larson was killed in the Haiti earthquake by Jerry Johnston Lincoln, NE 1/30/10 Among the thousands killed in the Haiti earthquake was a seminary student who had recently served at a Lincoln church. Twenty-five year old Ben Larson thought his church should serve God by serving those who rarely - if ever - set foot in a sanctuary. Jerry Johnston reports
