European equipment buyers coming to Big Iron BISMARCK, ND (NDPR) - Between 100 and 150 equipment buyers from Central and Eastern Europe will be coming to Big Iron in West Fargo this September.

They're sponsored by the North Dakota Trade Office.

"Hopefully they'll buy lots of equipment," said Trade Office director Ssuan Geib. "We have a four-day show planned for them, and an agenda tailored to their needs."

Geib says they're coming from countries like the Ukraine.

"The Ukraine has a very similar terrain to North Dakota," said Geib. "They grow similar crops, they have similar soils. But they don't have much in the way of equipment to harvest or seed. So they are buying equipment like crazy."

Big Iron runs from September 8th through the 11th at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds in West Fargo.
