New pest could affect millions of ND trees
(2008-07-07)
(NDPR) - There are nearly 47 million ash trees in the woodlands and forests in North Dakota - and the ash is the most common tree in the state's 55 thousand miles of shelterbelts. But those trees are now facing a devastating threat in the form of a tree pest, the emerald ash borer.
