Nebraska beef copes with the recession

(NET Radio) - Nebraska beef is the state's largest source of agricultural income and has an impact of 12 billion dollars a year to the state's economy. Cattle feeders are now really feeling the pinch of the recession. In this extended period of economic challenges, feeders say they must take advantage of every opportunity to survive. Clay Masters traveled to a feedlot in the northeastern Nebraska town of Wisner and filed this report.
