Many people are observing this Earth Day by carpooling, biking or using public transportation. But the bigger question is whether they will be doing the same thing tomorrow.
Nearly 300 businesses, organizations and schools have signed on to what's being called the Buffalo Niagara Earth Day 2008 Initiative. The campaign is spearheaded by Lancaster-based Ecology and Environment, an environmental consulting firm.
Kevin Neumaier is senior vice president of sustainability at E & E. He joined WBFO's Mark Scott on the line from his office to talk more about this.
