Summit Fights Racism in Calhoun County
The summit caps two years in which some seventy community members met to raise issues and brainstorm solutions. Summit organizer Dizzy Warren said so many residents were willing to volunteer their time because of how inclusive the effort was.
"We approach it not just from a black and white issue, but from a community issue," said Warren.
Warren said participants will next work to implement the ideas presented tomorrow.
She said she expects between seventy-five and one hundred people to attend tomorrow's summit.
