Daniels Finishing Property Tax Relief Plan

Governor Mitch Daniels says he will unveil a property tax relief plan by the end of the month. He says any solution must be, firm, far-reaching and final.
He will propose a Constitutional amendment that will refer to the state's history in trying to subsidize local and school spending and how in this case it led to higher taxes.
The Indiana Association of Realtors and Indiana Farm Bureau are proposing the state pick up the entire cost of funding schools.
Daniels says that is in line with what he has talked about in the past.
