Northern Michigan University is extending Earth Day into Earth Month. Darcy Daggy is President of NMU's Environmental Science Organization. She says several activities held throughout April are meant to bring awareness of earth issues to Northern students. Earth day events include a campus clean-up Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. in NMU's academic mall, a parade Saturday at 1 p.m. on Third Street, and an environmental issues fair Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the atrium of the Seaborg Science Complex.
