As a way to celebrate some of the excellent artists that have come through our studios and to bring our endeavor to support Minnesota music full circle, we’re pleased to announce the next installment of Local Current Live. The show will not only feature sets by some of our favorite Minnesota acts, but it will serve as a way for fans and other musicians to connect with our Local Current team (David Campbell, Andrea Swensson, and Jon Schober), submit CDs for airplay consideration, and tell us about their favorite local acts.
Local Current Live will take place on Thursday, February 28 at the Amsterdam Bar and Hall and feature the distorted rock and roll of Prissy Clerks, haunting folk by The Ericksons (backed by members of Field Report) and rising South Minneapolis rapper Greg Grease with special guests. And thanks to the Minnesota Legacy Amendment's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund, the whole event is free.
Details: Local Current Live Thursday, February 28 At the Amsterdam Bar and Hall Doors at 6pm 7pm — Prissy Clerks 8pm — The Ericksons 9pm — Greg Grease Free, 18+, standing-room show
