McCain To Visit Freeland Dow Corning Plant
Both John McCain and Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama have made numerous campaign and fundraising stops in Michigan in the past few weeks.
Polls show Michigan remains a key battle ground state for winning the presidency.
On Tuesday, McCain will tour a Dow Corning plant. Dow Corning is half-owned by Dow Chemical of Midland, and the tour comes one day after Dow Chemical CEO Andrew Liveris called for a comprehensive national industrial policy to help the U.S. keeps its position in the global marketplace.
