Mad Men, 30 Rock Top Emmys
The AMC series "Mad Men" has made Emmy history.
"Mad Men" is the first basic-cable show to win the best-drama award. The retro '60s drama centers on an ad agency.
On the comedy side, Tina Fey needs a wheelbarrow to haul home all of her Emmys. Her series "30 Rock" picked up the best-comedy Emmy at Sunday night's show in Los Angeles. And Fey herself won an Emmy for best actress in a comedy and another for writing.
Co-star Alec Baldwin won the best comedy series actor award for "30 Rock."
Glenn Close of "Damages" and Bryan Cranston of "Breaking Bad" won the drama acting Emmys. Close complimented her fellow nominees, including Holly Hunter and Sally Field. She said they're "proving that complicated, powerful, mature women are sexy" and can carry a TV show.
The first-ever Emmy for host of a reality show went to "Survivor's" Jeff Probst.
