(Michigan Radio) - Environmental officials are reviewing how much it will cost to clean-up Flint's Buick City. The former GM site has contaminated soil and contaminated ground water. Keith Edwards is with the Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce.

"So this stretch of roadway is over a mile long of different factories, so the Buick City portion that we're talking about is 200 acres."

It could cost between $1.4 to $3.7 million dollars to clean that specific area. The company that took-over GM must pay for the clean-up.

Edwards says building an intermodal transportation hub will bring jobs and businesses to the area. A meeting to get the public's input on the clean-up process is scheduled for November.
