Halloween Costumes -Trick or Treat?
(2009-10-31)

(Associated Press) - A Michael Jackson costume is one of the top sellers for Halloween this year.

That's according to Beatrice Chery at the Spirit Halloween Superstore in New York.

If you've not bought a costume yet, you're not alone. Chery says many customers have left it to the last minute. But she says those planning to buy an outfit this afternoon will find the store is a bit of a mess.

And anyone planning to go as reality TV personality Kate Gosselin may have trouble. A wig with her distinctive wedge of blonde hair is almost sold out.

Chery adds that political costumes have been popular, particularly President Barack Obama and Sarah Palin. The Palin outfit comes with her hair, glasses and a button that says "I'm a maverick."
