BIG TEN announcing realignment, Will it affect the annual U of M-OSU game?
Michigan and Ohio State fans will learn tonight if their annual gridiron matchup will change.
The BIG TEN is announcing a realignment of the conference this evening. The addition of the University of Nebraska has increased the BIG TEN to 12 colleges.
A realigned conference could affect when and if U of M and OSU play their annual football game. There are reports the game will not change.
But it's become such a big issue that Ohio State Senator Kevin Coughlin has introduced a resolution demanding the game remains the regular season finale.
"Its part of the fiber of our states, part of the cultural and our identity of who we are as Ohioans and Michiganders is wrapped up in this game," says Coughlin.
