The NEW GM versus the OLD GM ANN ARBOR, MI (Michigan Radio) - The new General Motors Company has emerged from bankruptcy. Papers were signed this morning at 6:30 making things official. We'll know even more later this morning about what the new General Motors will look like when GM CEO Fritz Henderson holds a news conference in Detroit. But, even though its name has changed, an old GM will still exist as Motors Liquidation Company. Tracy Samilton reports on the auto industry for Michigan Radio and she joined Michigan Radio's Morning Edition host Christina Shockley to talk about the OLD GM versus the NEW GM.
