Tax cut bill expected to go to House today
It's on track for quick Senate passage -- but the tax package that was negotiated by President Barack Obama and congressional Republicans may not emerge from the House without a change or two.

A Senate vote yesterday showed that the plan has widespread support there. It advanced by a vote of 83-15, and could win final Senate approval today.
House Democrats are scheduled to meet this evening to discuss it.
Obama says the Senate vote proves both parties can work together.
