Lessons Learned from a Forty Year Old Farm Catastrophe

(Michigan Radio) - DNA from the Asian Carp has now been found in Lake Michigan. That doesn't prove that the invasive species has truly arrived in the Great Lakes, but the threat is all too real. In addition to the ecological damage this fish could do it also threatens Michigan's 7 billion dollar fishing industry. This crisis reminds Michigan Radio's Jack Lessenberry of another disaster in Michigan's history, and he shares his thoughts with Charity Nebbe.
