Wayne State Wins Grant for ADHD Research
Jeffrey Stanley is a professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences at Wayne. He says researchers don't yet understand the timeline for change in children's brains that are affected by the disorder, "so identifying the time course will help I think to better target the intervention, and help determine what age will be appropriate for certain interventions."
The project will map brain activity in more than 100 children over at least two years.
The grant is from the National Institutes of Health.
