Helping Homeless Veterans
Federal money is coming to help homeless veterans in southeast Michigan.
The Salvation Army is getting more than $2.6 million to provide new dorm-like shelters for vets.
Lieutenant Colonel Norman Marshall says Vietnam War veterans are still the largest group of vets they serve, but the number of Iraq War veterans is increasing.
"They have emotional problems. And they're having difficulty finding work, and in fact they're having difficulty finding housing," says Marshall.
