Saginaw State University Ups Tuition
(2009-07-03)
(Associated Press) -

Saginaw Valley State University has approved a tuition increase for the 2009-10 academic year.

The school's governing board on Thursday approved the 6.3% increase. An undergraduate student from Michigan taking 30 credits will pay $6,900 in tuition and fees, up $408 from this past school year.

The tuition increase helps alleviate an estimated 3.2% decrease in state funding expected by the school.
