Michael Jackson's Will
LOS ANGELES, CA
(Associated Press) -
Michael Jackson's children could have another musical legend looking after them.
According to a plan laid out in a 2002 will, Diana Ross is second in line to care for Jackson's kids after the pop star's mother.
The will names his mother, Katherine Jackson, as the beneficiary of a family trust that would include the singer's entire estate, estimated back then to be worth half a billion dollars.
She's also named the guardian of Jackson's children and Ross would be her successor if necessary.
The will notably leaves nothing to ex-wife Debbie Rowe, who is the mother of two of Jackson's three children.
Neither Rowe nor her attorneys have indicated whether she intends to seek custody.
