ArtPrize Organizers To Host Town Hall Meeting
Organizers are calling it the biggest art prize in the world. The winners will be decided by popular vote in September, and the top prize is $250,000.
The event has already sparked plenty of discussion in Grand Rapids. And tonight people will get a chance to have their questions answered at a town hall event.
But organizer Rick Devos says people should submit questions by email at townhall@artprize.org.
"As far as for the big group, it's all going to be submitted online," he says of the town hall questions. "One-on-one, a whole group of us are going to be available to talk to folks one-on-one."
Devos says some of the details of ArtPrize are still up in the air, and there may be some changes as a result of the town hall meeting. © Copyright 2012, Michigan Radio
