Amway Posts Profit in 2008
Amway had a big increase in sales last year.
The personal products company says global sales rose 15% last year.
The strongest growth was in China, India and Russia.
Steve Van Andel is the chairman of Amway's parent company in Ada. He says the global recession may affect the company's profits in 2009.
"When you look at the economy, it's not just the economy in our market today. Our business is global," Van Andel says, "And frankly the economies around the world have a lot of the same impact that we have here in the U.S. So there is a concern there."
