Wine Shipping
(2008-11-14)
(Interlochen Public Radio) - Back in 2005, Michigan had a law that allowed in-state wineries to ship directly to Michigan customers. But out-of-state wineries were barred from doing the same. The US Supreme Court struck down that law. State lawmakers responded by opening the doors wider - allowing both in-state and out-of-state wineries to ship to Michigan consumers. A similar battle is now under way with retailers. But the solution may be very different this time around. IPR's Linda Stephan talks with Cari Noga. © Copyright 2012, Interlochen Public Radio
