Tuesday is the deadline for Michigan businesses to start paying the Michigan Business Tax. Lawmakers said the new tax would make Michigan's business taxes less cumbersome and complicated. It would also shift the burden away from companies poised to grow in Michigan. But business groups say a lot of companies are complaining that the new tax isn't much better than what it's replacing. null
