One Michigan man not only loves the music and legacy of Johnny Cash, but he’s fulfilling a dream by being Johnny Cash.

Aretha Franklin, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye. Those are some of the big names of Detroit music. But another name worthy of top billing is trumpeter Marcus Belgrave, and he was recently named Detroit's Eminent Artist by the Kresge Foundation.

The high school class of 2011 will be the first in Michigan to graduate with a new set or course requirements, including 4 years of math and English, and 3 years of science and social studies, among others.
