Mobile Businesses Slowly Reopen MOBILE, AL (APR - Alabama Public Radio ) - Pharmacies, supermarkets and hardware stores in Mobile started reopening Wednesday for the first time since Hurricane Katrina hit Monday. Many of the businesses were still in the dark and were using generators to operate. In some cases, like at one Mobile Rite Aid, store workers also used flashlights to lead people around.
