This is an attempt at an Earth Day show. There is so much to worry about in the world and I really believe that doing good things around your own habitat can make a difference. I'm always reminding myself of the things I could be doing; harvesting water, plant more pollinator plants, drive less......well, you know it all. The poem, by the way, is a fun use of newspaper style headlines to poke fun at myself.
Phaseolus filiformis is a neat native bean. I gathered a few seed on a trip to the Cabeza Prieta with the botanist Richard Felger. How
wonderful. Grow native!
