30 Minutes- Taxi To The Dark Side
30 Minutes features remarks made recently in a question answer session at The Loft Cinema following the showing of the Academy Award winning documentary Taxi To The Dark Side.

by Amanda Shauger

Taxi To The Dark Side, by film maker Alex Gibney, depicts the suspicious death of an Afghani taxi driver at Bagram Air Base in 2002. The film examines how an innocent civilian was apprehended, imprisoned, interrogated, tortured and ultimately murdered while in the custody of the United States.

Father Steve Kelly was on hand to offer comments following the screening. Kelly is a Roman Catholic priest who along with Father Louis Vitale was recently released after a five month prison sentence for their 2006 nonviolent witness at Fort Huachuca against torture.

More information about Father Steve Kelly is available at www.tortureontrial.org.
