Cesar E. Chavez Labor Bridge Dedication (28:45)2008-04-06

On Friday April 4th, exactly forty years after the assassination of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., city of Tucson and South Tucson elected officials, students, the Tucson-Pima Arts Commission, transportation officials, artists and others were on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony and dedication of a new public art project- the Cesar E. Chavez Labor Bridge on 6th Avenue and I-10.
Featured speakers include Ward 5 Councilman Steve Leal, co-founder of the UFW Dolores Huerta, Raul Grijalva's district aid Ruben Reyes, Cesar Chavez's brother Richard Chavez and Pima County Supervisor Richard Elias.
